2, What is the difference from previous Think Rich Pinoy seminars?
a. Some attendees can get to play Cashflow 202. This is a more advanced GAME w/c contains stock options (puts and calls), network marketing, easier to bankrupt and harder to leave the rat race. Don't
know what I mean? That's okay, play Cashflow 101 instead. 202 is designed for the "veteran player" and those who believe they have what it takes to become wealthy in a short short time.
b. To enhance enjoyment, there will be a contest among tables to see w/c one group gets out of the rat race more. If your group wins, congratulations, you have learned more!
c. People who wish to leave brochues, calling cards, samples to market to the seminar attendees may do so using a promotion/marketing table.
d. One of the attendees (you?!) can get to win a one hour mentoring/Q&A session with Larry Gamboa. It's a raflle.
e. All attendees get to receive (after the event) access to special ebooks:
- Master of Passive Income - by Jay Abraham
- 10 Mistakes Most Real Estate Investors Make
f. What's an ebook?
It's an electronic book, you read it from your computer. The format is normally Adobe Acrobat. To read it you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe.com
3. How to register for the Think Rich Pinoy Events so I can participate?
Just pay the fee via bank or paypal/credit card and you're in. Normal
fee is P 2450
4. How to confirm my registration?
Just email thinkrichpinoyseminar@gmail.com with the following data AFTER you
have paid via paypal or bank deposit: BPI Account Name: ESTI-TRP(Think Rich Pinoy); Account# 8291-0083-57. (Checking), Amount: P 2450/seat.
5. Can we get a group discount?
If there are ten of you, you can avail of the early bird discount (P
1450.-) even until the last day (February 2).
6. Other discounts?
If you want to attend AGAIN, you can pay 50% of the fee (P 2450 * 50% = P 1225.00) - just P 1225.00 to attend again and play cashflow 202 or 101, perhaps to challenge yourself. But you must hurry because there are very limited slots for these.
7. Maximum number of participants?
We can only accommodate 120 participants per session.
8. Is this a scam?
No. Money will not be asked from you when you're in seminar. This is a financial education seminar and cashflow game. The game uses play money. However, if your mindset is "scam" - unfortunately this is not the place to go - you won't find any.
The goal of Think Rich Pinoy is to create wealth --using whatever legal means-though primarily through real estate - because that's the safest way to go. You will not be required to buy property from Think Rich Pinoy people (at any given time we actually have only a handful available properties and we don't get investors just because they have
the money) -you go buy them from sellers out there in the world. We just enable you to start building your wealth.
Real Estate Investing Wisdom is not taught in schools. That's why we're doing this. But the Think Rich Pinoy is NOT an end of learning,it's a beginning -so please do not make the mistake of thinking you'll become wealthy because of this one seminar.
You might get one idea that can propel you to become a millionaire, it happens quite a lot. You might get it from the people, the game, the seminar, who knows? The important thing is -you're ready to accept that idea and run with it. That's where Think Rich Pinoy comes in-we make you ready or at least we set you off to the path of becoming
wealthy.
9. Can i pay on the site (UN Avenue Venue)?
You may but there's a danger of not being able to play cashflow as the slots are very limited. Better to secure your seat via Creditcard (using paypal.com) or deposit to the bank. If you're abroad, the best way is to open a free paypal.com account, connect your credit card to it--following it's directions --so you can buy a ticket online. Connecting your credit card to a paypal account is not a quick thing to do-so I suggest you do so now-even if you're planning to pay later.
10. Schedule?
Aug 1, Saturday, 2009, 8am (we start promptly) to 6pm.
11. Venue?
Training Room of Philam Life, UN Avenue, Manila
12. How to get there?
Commuting:
Go down at the UN Avenue LRT station, walk towards the Manila Bay with Manila Doctor's Hospital on your right.
The Philamlife Building is in front of the Manila Pavilion/Casino Filipino.
Yes, it's ironic but that's where the Think Rich Pinoy event is held. Enter Philamlife entrance (not the casino).
Just tell the guard "Think Rich Pinoy" and you'll be pointed to a training room just beside the nice outdoor chapel in a garden is located - so it isn't really ironic. Just fitting.
Toilets would be opposite the direction of the training room.
Car
If you have a car, the parking is on the back of the building. You'll have to take the other street parallel to UN Avenue, that's Padre Faura (from Taft in the direction going to Robinson's Place Mall Faura
Wing) and turn right at M Orosa, so you can reach the Philam Parking (w/c would be to your right.)
Map
A google earth/maps copy of the area is found in
http://richteamevents.blogspot.com/2008/02/how-to-go-to-think-rich-pinoy-on-feb-16.html
13. Lunch/Snack included?
Yes, one each is included.
14. What should I bring?
If you want an autographed copy of your Think Rich Pinoy books, bring them.Bring a camera and get a photo shoot with Larry Gamboa. Why? Because it works. Most successful people do that, why shouldn't you?
Your choice.
15. When do you plan to do a seminar here in (Country,City)?
We're coming up with a manual on how someone in your city can host a Think Rich Pinoy event. If you're really serious about this, please contact thinkrichpinoyseminar@gmail.com and say "I want to HOST Think Rich Pinoy" and we'll take it from there.
Right now TRP events are all held in Manila. You can "count the cost" and fly in- like some people do or simply wait it out. The most important thing is to DO SOMETHING.

Money mistakes seniors make
Posted on January 26, 2009 - Filed Under Q & A
Question: My aunt is in her early 70s. She used to work as a nurse in the US but has retired here in the Philippines. We assumed she had built up some savings for retirement because she worked hard abroad for more than 30 years. So we are puzzled that today she has difficulty paying for all her medical expenses and other bills. She bought a car in cash a couple of years ago and hired a driver, but other than that we are not aware of other high-ticket items she purchased. What could have gone wrong? How can I avoid ending up like that? – Paula.
Answer: Many people think that retirement would be a breeze; after all, they have earned it after working for so long. But as your aunt may have found out, retirement is not really a bed of roses if one hasn’t prepared for it.
It may be possible that your aunt has indeed saved up, but it may not have been enough or the fund was not taken care of for it to last long. This is a common mistake seniors make in managing their finances.
Below are common mistakes seniors make when it comes to managing their finances. Think about what you can do to prevent committing them.
1. Not having a retirement fund. It’s in the Filipino culture to take care of our aging parents. That is why nursing homes for the elderly are very few in the country. Most Filipinos expect their adult children to take care of them when they are old, thus they have not saved up for funding their own retirement.
The reality, though, is not all adult children have the means to support their aging parents since they may also be having a hard time supporting their own families. This is why everyone should save up for his own retirement. This may be in the form of a pension fund or a do-it-yourself investment portfolio.
2. Not maximizing the potential gains of a retirement fund. Put simply, this means not investing your retirement fund well before you retire such that you miss out on potentially higher gains.
For instance, putting all of one’s savings in a savings account will yield only about 0.75 percent interest per annum. Contrast that with a special time deposit which could earn you about 6 percent per annum in five years. Even a retail treasury bond may yield 8 percent in three years’ time. Bonds and stocks and pooled funds (unit investment funds and mutual funds) may even earn you more depending on the market.
3. Not adjusting investments as retirement looms. Ideally, when you are nearing retirement, you should shift your investments from risky assets (such as equities) to less risky ones. As high risk investments may earn you more but may also make you lose, you can’t afford to put your entire retirement fund in peril so close to retirement age.
When you are young, you can take on more risks in investing by exploring investments that may give you a higher yield. You will have enough time to ride out the market volatility and recover any losses. Then be more conservative and protect your capital as you see retirement in the horizon.
4. Being asset-rich but cash-poor. Your aunt, for instance, has a car, but has difficulty paying her regular bills. Would it not make better sense to let go of the car so she can buy her medicines and pay for her living expenses monthly?
For some seniors, liquidating assets may be a good move to fund living expenses. Put cash in more easily accessible investments such as bank deposits.
5. Overspending. Living it up sounds so wonderful at retirement, but seniors must recognize that money will dry up with no income coming in. This is why one must live within his means. Live simply and make your retirement fund last longer.
6. Having inadequate insurance. It is during one’s sunset years that health care and medical bills rise. So it is just right that one should avail of health insurance while still young. In that way, you will be protected and new chronic illnesses (such as hypertension) cropping up afterward will still be covered in old age. Make sure you have health insurance, disability insurance, and accident insurance.
7. Not having guaranteed income. To ensure a worry-free retirement, one should consider having a steady guaranteed income stream even during retirement age. And it would be best if this income stream can beat inflation, meaning, it would earn at a rate higher than the inflation rate. Examples of such income sources would be money market investments and real estate rentals. With these, money would still come in even if you’re not working and toiling in an office eight hours a day.
Or if you still can, consider working even part-time. Aside from keeping your mind sharp, a job at retirement age will give you income that could help you with your day-to-day expenses.

New Friends, New Mentors
I entered inside. The place was unexpectedly quiet. Anyone here? And, I saw someone standing... Gosh, it was a life-size picture of Lloyd. Hmmm... you got me! I knocked. And there I saw her staff Tonette. :) It was an unexpected office ambience from someone who's so noisy in the web! Oh with noisy, I mean, very visible and in constant communication with their market online and offline. :)
There you go! I met the guy. From the very first minute we conversed, I knew that this guy’s passion is coaching! He did it to me for free. :) Soon, I was caught pondering about myself. Huh! I expected it anyway. I had long been wanting to consult a coach in person. Law of attraction and action, I got it!
What can I say? I know the coming days will make my history as I take part in his exciting project “Inspiring Stories of Successful People”. Just continue watching for my blog posts.
Oh, and did I mention that he is an excellent Internet Marketing guru too? Check his site. Http://Lloydluna.com.
And before the day ended, I met his great friend too. Director, writer, producer, trainor and voice actor Pocholo Gonzales of CreatiVoices. The two of them challenged me to unleash the best in me!
Thanks guys! Hope to work with you soon!

2008 Top Memorable Experiences and Life Expanders
1. Completion with “someone”. The details? She just want to keep it private.
2. Sold a two-door apartment in Pasig with no money down. From the book to reality, RichPinay was able to apply the concept taught by Trace Trajano in his book “Think Rich, Quick!” and got herself totally amazed how could that kind of strategy be really possible! She plans to exercise more of that business strategy this 2009.
3. Launched Think Rich Pinoy (TRP) Club Marikina. Despite the number of interested applicants to join her club, RichPinay had refused to open one until October of 2008. The TRP Club is a monthly meeting, sharing, and Cashflow Game on Real Estate investing. Since its opening, the club had been conducting fun-filled meetings where members can’t wait for the next exciting TRP Club meeting!
4. Launched ThinkRichPinay.com. RichPinay is not a writer but finally gave in to her dream of sharing her knowledge starting with a blog. She said that she had gathered a lot of courage to conquer her writer's block, among others, before and even while she's already running the blog. “But I had started it anyway, so I thought, the only way to go is to continue despite personal challenges that came my way”, said RichPinay.

6. Contributed to a Christmas Outreach Program for 900 less fortunate kids. The members of the Think Rich Pinoy Group chipped-in their personal funds for the breakfast of 900 less fortunate kids being taught by the Missionaries of Mother Teresa in Tayuman. RichPinay coordinated the canvassing and ordering of the breakfast that were served. Beyond expectation, she was so happy that Julie's Bakeshop granted immediate discount (approved the same day it was requested) to share in the outreach program. With this experience she was able to prove that “Men are truly good by nature”.
7. Donated shoes to calamity victims. Her family had donated different kinds of footwear to the typhoon and flash flood victims in Mindoro and Romblon. “We can let go of our old stocks from the store through Clearance Sales and convert them into Cash (knowing I need it too) but we chose to donate them instead. I believe that if we let go of something old, new things, new blessings will come as well. The experience became more rewarding not just because we were able to donate but also because of breaking-through the challenge to let go...”
8. Read the book “Be Your Own Mentor” by Anne Bruce. “I seldom get captured by books. But one time, I was thinking of consulting a career counsellor when I passed by Powerbooks. I considered dropping by just to look around. Good thing was, the bookstore allows private reading inside. I remembered that books are also mentors. So I rushed to the Career-guide bookshelf and spotted “Be Your Own Mentor”. After having scanned the book for half an hour, I couldn't help but to take it home! It's a workshop type of book that teaches one how to follow his/her inner compass, discover his/her passion, career path and how to attain it. Truly suited to my current need and it was so interactive, it didn’t make me sleep. :) I was able to finish it in 3 weeks - the shortest record I made so far! But more than this record-breaking experience were the bunch of learnings I had carried on to this new year to continue with an exciting career path of my choice!”, RichPinay told.
9. Subscribed to Manila Bulletin Sunday newspaper. Despite some teachings she heard that reading or listening to the news (because most of them are negative) is not so beneficial, she said that she gained more confidence being up-to-date with the current news and trend. “My boring view of the newspaper before had now turned into exciting, as excited as when I’m reading a magazine. I almost read the newspaper from “cover to cover” and see the appeal of each of its section, aside from the Real Estate Classified Ads”, she mentioned.
10. Conquered shyness and networked with new individuals. “Having known new people and gained new friends, which can possibly new mentors was another reward I got for getting out of my comfort zone. I am typically a shy person, especially if I don't know the people that I am gonna talk or deal with. But, as they say, “No guts, no glory”. So, several times, I had to set “shyness” aside and “act” brave. Well, faking “courage” soon made it real and before I knew it, I had already made friends with new great personalities”, RichPinay mentioned. That was just one of the rewards of being an entrepreneur. You get to meet different people. From customers and suppliers, we gain friends. Soon, it turns a serious business transaction into “playtime” and the real essence of business which is “service” come out because of win-win deals.
11. Became a member of Red Corner Boxing Gym. “My decision to join the gym was already towards the year-end of 2008 and it happened just because I was shrugging off negative energies from some personal life challenges. After the free “trial workout”, the gym experience worked out on me! I knew I wanted to have that regular fitness program but had been setting it aside. Again, my gym experience wouldn't be as fun if not for the friendly trainors and staff of Red Corner (Holiday Inn branch), not to mention the cozy hotel ambience, the shower room's lemon scent, relaxing pool area, after-boxing stretches from the trainors and healing sauna! Every visit to this gym is such a great treat to myself! The cost? More affordable than you think! :D”, RichPinay enthusiastically told her friends.

To sum it up, RichPinay said that what really makes an experience memorable is its ability to expand ourselves. Whether it's a good or bad experience, the deeper the learning, the more historic it becomes. We had read a lot of Top Lists for 2008. It's time to list your own Top 10, 20 or 25. Why is it worth pondering for? The acquired values in those experiences are the same values we can continue on applying in our daily life until they become our habit and part of our character. As our self expands, our wealth – health, knowledge, relationships and career expands too, among others! Create your own list now and be surprised on the good things that happened to you last 2008... then let your “New Year’s Resolution be just a repetition of all the great moves you made last 2008! Smarter, isn’t it? If you already did it (even if you couldn’t believe it), then you can definitely do it again and again. Kaw pa?!
